5g lighting and co2

Hey,

so, i am going to start shopping for a co2 system, and new lighting for my 5g. currently running a 8 watt cfl, and diy co2. none of the stores near my house seem to have any lighting small enough for my tank. and i feel like the co2 i was looking at for my 20g a long time back is a little excessive for such a small tank. Would love any suggestions.

You could do a 10 or 13 watt CFL. DIY CO2 should work on such a small tank or you could get the Fluval Kit. The expensive part is replacing the prefilled cartridges.

Hey, sorry it took me so long to get back on this one. Appreciate the advice, looks like I will be sticking with the DIY co2. Havn't seen any higher watt cfls with the right light spectrum that will fit my tank around town, so it looks like I will have to try online.
