$6 protein skimmer, what think?

keep in mind that you will need an air pump for that as well. I don't think it includes one. Unless you buy a nice air pump they are kinda loud as well. It would work in theory i guess but i find that most of those little nano skimmers arn't great. For 6$ you could try it though. No experience with it though so that's just a guess.
 
When it comes to skimmers you get what you pay for. Not much there on that one. One thing though I`m one that thinks you dont need one on a nano tank. Just simple PWC`s will do on a nano.
 
I agree with melosu58. You cannot compare the efficiency and performance of a $6 skimmer against a $200+ skimmer.

But for $6 heck it's worth giving it a shot, I guess.
 
Don't waste your money, these are a piece o' *insert preferred term* Not only do the airstones not create enough turbulence to produce froth, but inaccurate, and clog easily. This ranks right up there with a skilter lol.
