Hi everyone! I'm setting up a new 75 gal tank. Its dimensions are 48x18x22.
I'm planning to stock it with 4 species (5 each)
First question:
What type of filter should I use? I've been advised a trickle filter. Is that enough?

Second question:
How about lighting? I've read that 50/50 bulb is nice. But I don't know what type of tube to get. I mean, what length? Should I get just one long one?

Thank you very much!

Lots of opens on filtration. For mbuna tanks I would almost always go for a canister or an HOB power filter.

For HOB filters I would go with a pair of Aquaclear AC 130's

For canister I would go with a single Fluval FX6, Eheim 2262 or Eheim 2080(1200 XL). I used to recommend a pair of smaller canisters but I am finding that almost all the smaller canister filters have quality issues, even the ones from premier manufacturers.
