? about the 36-48 in. Marineland Double Bright LED Light

I have a 55gal tank.
I am in the market for a new light.

Does anyone have the:
36-48 in. Marineland Double Bright LED Light - 16 x 1W white - 8 x .06W blue



how does it work with the black strip down the middle?

Can you add a cover under it?

Would I be better off with doing two smaller ones?

Any feedback would be great.

I was looking at buying the same fixture... but from what I read online its not that great.

I believe the quote I read said good for nemo only.. :-(

It's for a fish only set up. Corals can not survive under it. Even their reef capable are not that great for corals.
