Aquarium Advice Freak
Hey everyone.
I had posted a note in the classified section saying that I was looking for a black acrylic stand and canopy for my 55 gal reef tank. I just like the way they look better then the wood, and my other main tank is the oceanic metal series (looks like stainless steel stand and canopy). Anyway I just want a more contemporary look.....
So here is the question Mattp725 pointed out to me that you never really see glass tanks on acrylic stands. After he said that I realized he was right. Is this just something people don't do, or is it a safety weight issue??? Not that I am sure how I would change the stand out on a full tank anyway, but that is besides the point.
Anyone know if this is something I can do. If not anyone have any suggestions of a stand canopy combo that looks more sleek?
