I have a 24" Coral Life hood that does not have a moon glo bulb. I was wondering if anyone knows if I can buy a seperate moon glo LED or something that I can mount under my hood somewhere. I want to add a moon glo bulb without changing my entire hood. thanks

I was wondering if I could mount a reptile moon glo LED under my hood. Their inexpensive and would give off no heat

I am sure you can add that. Is the reptile LED red? I just tried these blue ones I got from the store but they didn't allow linking to the same power source. I am going to return them since they don't offer the coverage I want.

I am looking at getting these instead:

Is that what you are looking into getting? There are a ton of DIY ones on this board as well :)

The LFS said 1 every 2 feet is good but i found out it looks like 2 spot lights. To me, I wanted more coverage 8)
