adivce on Maxijet MP1200 Powerhead
all i just got a Maxijet MP1200 Powerhead for my sons tank to had more water movement. would it better to leave the the funnel that can be moved up and down off to get a better flow. menythanks

That's a matter of preference really. I keep them on so I can direct the flow where I want it. I don't think it takes away from the flow at all. JMO

Or better yet look at the sureflow high flow kit. For another $17-20, you can add another 1300 gph!
