I am thinking that this filter running full pelt is a little strong for my Tetras (or minnows, see herefor debate lol ), and I am thinking about turning it down a bit.
Now... Crepe advised me to adjust the intake, as opposed to the output...good advice, but a few questions first
Can any harm come to the filter by closing the intake valve halfway or so?
Will the filter still cope with the same bio-load?
Will it do the bacteria any harm to vary the flow, ie: faster in the daytime, slower at night or something like that?
