I have a Fluval FX-6 canister filter which I think I like. This is the first canister I've used. It resets itself each day and purges a lot of air. Any ideas on where the air might be coming from? I do not have a bubbler going.

Any splits in the inlet hose anywhere? On the inlet itself perhaps? I know my inlet is cracked but it's below the waterline so i just leave it.

Hmmm. Thanks. It isn't so easy to get behind mine. I think I'll try something similar and put more water in to see if it's a problem where my tubing connects to the intake. More water should submerge the beginning of the intake piece. It's an adjustable solid tube
