Air pump

Ok everyone I have a question...do I really need a air pump in my tank.

I picked one up but I have no real use for it. I just thought that ya know

it might help the tank out some (yes I know what a air pump does). But

im just wondering if I really need one. I have a Rena XP3 canister filter, 2

Aquaclear 70 powerheads, a Seaclone protien skimmer in the tank. And I

just was wondering what your guy's (or girls) opinions were. By the way

it is an Elite air pump. Well happy

fish keeping.

Air pumps are not needed if you have proper circulation/surface. Protein skimmers also oxygenate the water well.
