Air pump
Ok everyone I have a question...do I really need a air pump in my tank.
I picked one up but I have no real use for it. I just thought that ya know it might help the tank out some (yes I know what a air pump does). But im just wondering if I really need one. I have a Rena XP3 canister filter, 2 Aquaclear 70 powerheads, a Seaclone protien skimmer in the tank. And I just was wondering what your guy's (or girls) opinions were. By the way it is an Elite air pump. Well happy fish keeping. |

Air pumps are not needed if you have proper circulation/surface. Protein skimmers also oxygenate the water well.
