I have a 40 gal Breeder tank and i want to create some air bubbles for my cichlids, they seem to like that. What kind of air stone of power head should i get? i would like for the bubbles to flow across the tank so they can swim in it.

Are you trying to increase water current with a power head, or do you want little bubbles coming up from the bottom of the tank?

well i was in my LFS and I saw a large tank with a power head in it. I liked that the cichlids would swin against the current and bubbles coming out of the power head. Will my fish do the same?

Most powerheads have a air inlet in the discharge nozzle. I have one by penguin that came with a air filter and valve to regulate the amount of air. You probably need a foam filter for the inlet to keep debris out of the impeller.
