I'm still in the process (waiting game) of getting the nitrate reactor stabilized. I know that the original bacterial bloom can cause a decrease in oxygen, so I am a little paranoid. I have a 150 gallon dual corner overflow going into a 50 gallon sump. I have a Reef Octopus skimmer and a small powerhead pointed up in the sump to break surface tension. I have a 2 outlet air pump with 2 stones in the sump. Is this enough air exchange? Do I need to keep the airstones running after the reactor stabilizes?
