Algae scrubbers

Hello,
I'm trying to eliminate a hair algae problem in my current tank before I move my LR and corals from my 2.5 to my 4 gallon tank, iv attempted water changes twice a week iv taken the live rock and frag plugs out and scrubbed them and it still comes back, does any have an algae scrubber on their nano? I have a rough idea of how to make one but am wondering if anyone's made one out of an aquaclear filter my 2.5new 4

I am interested in your plan or build.
Santa Monica has a TON of info and different builds for ATS.
I would like to see an HOB ATS.
Most use them in sumps,but a sump for a 4g would be crazy?!
