Amonia Alert

Are those little SeaChem Amonia alert cards w/suction cup any good?
Not to replace water test, but just as an alert. I was thinking of putting one in my curing tank just to give me a heads up when amonia spike happens. Will still do tests, but this could just be another indicator.

And does anyone use one of these in their display or sump?

They work pretty good.

I used one for a while. THey are good for a spot ammonia check. Good for QT tanks or something where you would check ammonia on a regular basis.

Thanks. This is all I wanted one for. I know they can't be precise, just wanted something I could glance at a few times a day, and do a regular accurate test
routinely.
