Another filtration question.
On my 46, I currently have an XP2. I did have an AC50, but the impeller was damaged from sand. I want to get a really good HOB to work alongside my XP2. The whole left side of my tank has some dead spots where tons of dirt accumulates, and I think it would be great to have a filter on that side. I know I should just buy another impeller for the AC50, but I am wondering if there is anything else out there for a decent price that is much better than the AC50. Thanks.

IME AC is the best brand on the market. I have like overy ten your old AC's that are still working great!

I second the AC recommendation. If it's an issue of dead spots in the tank, perhaps powerheads would serve you better. Still, even with powerheads, my recommendation is AC.
