So I have had a 200 watt Jager running in this tank with a calibration and temp setting that holds her steady at 24.9 Celsius since June. It was brand new then. I have never touched it. All of the sudden one day this week I see its on and the temp is 26.2 C and rising. I take it out, recalibrate the red ring to the true aquarium temp, ensure it is set at the same temp as before and the SOB still wouldn’t turn off. The only way it would turn off is if I lifted it out of the water. My air temp is about 21. Do you think it’s cooked? I never touched it what so ever. I called eheim and getting one replaced under warranty take 6-8 weeks which was no immediate assistance so I had a Jager 150 watt from before I put in with no issue that had the same defaults set up.
I got to get a backup eventually
Thanks
