Another RO/DI ?

Hello all

I have very low water pressure and my RO/DI unit is making 6 to 7 gallons of waste water to 1 gallon of good water is the low water pressure a contributing factor or is something else wrong here?

Low water pressure can be adding to the problem, but a ro/di does usually have 4-5 gallons of waste water per gallon of good water. Thats just what they do when making water. I have a booster pump and it did improve the ratio some.

The ratio sounds high. What do the specs for your unit say and what is your water pressure?
