Anybody own a Vertex Alpha 170 cone skimmer?

I really like this skimmer, but have read about 3 or 4 different sizes for the footprint. I am wondering if this skimmer will fit in a 10 gallon aquarium sized sump? If it really is 7.75" X 12.5" it should work I believe.
