I picked up one of these 3 way adaptors for a future build.

It was £3.99.
Anyone used them?
Do they limit power in any way?
Are they reliable?

The closest I can get to that is plugs for overseas travel which have holes all over the place and work fine. Only trouble I have is if a switch sticks.

On a side note we had a house burn down over our way from dust getting apparently in a 4 way power board. I've started to swap ours to power boards where the plug holes flip closed if not used.

Well.. All British sockets have flaps on the holes for when they're not in use.

I just don't know how far 13amps will get me in the way of aquarium appliances.

That's sensible - very safe. No idea on amps sorry, in Australia.

Some quick googling has let me know that a 13amp socket can take around 1600watts..
More than enough!
