I would do a sizeable pwc and test again. If its still high do another one, maybe a bit more moderate. If after that one its over .25 I would wait a few hours and do it again. You're right, you don't wanna stress the fish in their current enviroment.

.25 isnt bad considering your cycling but 0 would be best

no prob were all here to help. .25 is considered safe so if you want to leave it there to let your fish relax a bit im sure there really stressed

hm i suppose so when we fishless cycle we dose up to 4ppm so i cant say 100% but id call that a spike
