I just opened the box that my API Master Test Kit was shipped in. It appears that one of the bottles leaked because there is some yellow fluid in the container. Any idea which chemical it is? Should I just open it, clean it up, and call it good, or should I call em and ship it back for a new one?

Hm...it doesn't appear to be a ton spilled inside, think I should keep it or call em up?

I would call them and tell them it arrived today and you found that one of the bottles has leaked all over. See what they say. They may just send you an all new kit. If they say they won't, tell them you're sending it back and want a new one: you should get what you pay for.

I agree, any reputable online vendor will listen to your complaint. It's possible that they will either replace the effected test bottle or the whole thing.

EDIT - Moved to General Hardware/Equipment forum.

It is the Ammonia Solution 1. This is sometimes leaky, and it is yellow.
I would replace it, but if you really don't care, just wipe it up cleanly off the container and the bottles.
