API Master Water Test Kit

I have an API test and Iím getting zero ammonia, zero nitrite, zero nitrate for my readings. I shook the heck out of the 2nd bottle for my nitrate test like Iím supposed to. Any idea why this is happening? I have no live plants. Click image for larger version

Could you get a water sample tested at shop? Sounds like test kit but tank looks light stocked / getting readings before.

I was actually thinking that, and was gonna take it today. Tank is 10 gallons with a Dward Gourami, 2 mollies and 3 platys

Update, got the issue resolved. My kit was actually defective and I have 20 ppm nitrate according to the store test, contacted api and they are sending me a new nitrate test bottle 2
