Hi guys
I need advise, I recently purchased an aqua lift pump from marine depot so that I could pump water from a water container into my sump to replace evaporated water and in the future dose kalk. I wanted to see how this pump would function before i started dosing kalk. I noticed that once the ATO shut the pump off, the line would still keep on dripping slowly as if siphoning on it's own suction pressure created by the pump when it was on and eventually filling my sump to dangerous levels, do I have a defective lifter pump or is this something that has been seen before and it's just a matter of line placement Note my water container sits at ground level as does the sump.
