aquac remora

I had just purchased a aqua c remora online and since the purchase i was thinking i should have gotten the remora pro with the mag 3 i didnt purchase this one first off because it was rated 75 gal + and i own a 55 but i read elsewhere that the pro is for 40+ tanks i am new to the hobby and i am using this to speed up my tank while it is cycling i plan on having some fish 5 or so cleaner shrimp and if possible corals should i stick with the maxijet1200 remora or send it back and get the Pro w/mag 3? or is that to much for such a little tank thanks for your help fellow reefkeepers

I can't comment on the Remora models and your tank, but I can tell you that a skimmer does not speed up your cycling. Most people don't even turn on their skimmer until the cycle completes.

Former advisor and planted tank geek...life's moved on though.

Welcome to AA!!!

If it were me, and I had a 75... I would get the mag3 Remora Pro. More water flow, more capacity... IMO a better buy if you can afford it. Especially for bigger tanks.
