Are they SUPPOSED to float or are they supposed to sink to the bottom of the filter? I am not sure which condition would maximize their effectiveness.
One last question... I hope this is the last one, I am starting to get on my own nerves :P I purchased 1 gallon of these balls, what % of the one gallon should I add to the filter? I am guessing as much as will fit. Thanks again. Joe |

Given enough water, they float. Just put two sponges in yout [acronym:c4b14e140c="Activated Carbon"]AC[/acronym:c4b14e140c], and dump however many bioballs fit on top.

The filter got here yesterday and I was disappointed to find out I do not currently have enough clearance between my wall and aquarium to mount this filter. I need to wait a few weeks until my girlfriend comes home to help me lift and move the (empty) aquarium safely.
I am impressed with the obviously AWSOME engineering that must have gone into this unit. I can't wait to see how it runs and I will be sure to post and let everyone know. Joe |
