I have a 35 gallon tank and stand without a lid. I have all accessories needed to set it up also, but I am hesitant to set it up because I do not have a lid.
Is there fish that could be stocked without a lid? and lighting options without a lid?
Is there anywhere you can get custom lids made?

I run half my tanks without a lid.

If it's not a custom built tank there is likely a lid made for it.

If you can't find one then you could get the dimensions and get plexiglass cut to for it.

looks good cuts easy and it's cheap

another choice would be a glass versa top I usually use the front section of the versa top along with the plastic hing and attach it to the egg crate piece on the back I use hot glue or silicone for this hot glue drys faster
thought I had a pict with the front glass rear egg crate
