AquaTop CF-400UV?

First post here as a new member. I was looking at going for a canister and dumping my AquaTech HOBs. I found the AquaTop CF-400UV on Amazon for $89.95 and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this filter. Also, how loud would it be in my cabinet stand and is the UV really needed or not? Thanks in advance!

Great filters for a great price. I have the CF-300, the smaller version. It is dead silent, runs great, good value. The UV is not really necessary, but it has its own switch so you can just have it off. They don't make the larger models without the UV, but they're enough of a value regardless of its functionality to warrant the purchase.
