I'd like some input ... I'm going to ask for a new light fixture for christmas, but I probably will not actually get it till Jan since I'm certain to get Pet-smart Gift cards.

From my local Pet-smart I'm looking at

- an Aqueon T5 with a 6700K and a plant growth Bulb.
- Marineland Single Bright LED

My 75gal current set up is a single 32watt 6700K T8 bulb, Anubias, Crypt (both growing), Amazon Sword and Java Fern. I've heard / read and seen videos that Single brights are not suitable for growing plants, but in my case does it matter, since my current setup is less than 1WPG. I dose excel, comprehensive and root tabs.

Should I forget the Single Bright and spend the $$$ for the Double Brights or could the single brights work in my case? I'm leaning towards the LED more so for the moonlight option, but in the end it's what's going to help my plants grow better than now.
