Aquarium Advice Freak
I am looking to spend just a little money for a skimmer (i.e. less than $300 with pump) for a 180g FOWLR marine aquarium. I was considering an ASM G2, does anyone have any comments on this?

SW 20 & Over Club
It's a good skimmer. It's basically the same as the original Octopus skimmers, but alot higher priced. The new Octos (NWB models or Extreme models) blow it away tho.

I have the ASM G2 on my 150 reef.
Its a power house and does a good job. Thus far I have been very happy with it. It was one of the cheapest from drsfostersmith, thus I grabbed it last in setting up the tank (out of money) and I like it.
Depends on feeding and all, but I can pull a coffee black skimmate cup from it every week, or two cups that look like tea.
