Atman and Purigen

Hi i have a Atman canister filter. I think aqua one took it over. I think. and i want to know where i should put the purigen? should it be in the top tray or bottom?
i have the rings still in the. i have removed the sponges. and i am slowly removing the bioballs and putting LR rubble in replace of them.

Anywhere in direct water flow where water can't easily go around the media is fine. Did you buy the 100ml bags or in bulk? If in bulk then you will need a fine mesh bag to store it in. The beads are too small to be added like AC.

I have mine in the bottom of my fluvial 304.

i bought the bulk stuff. cheaper. plus my lfs had 20% off all seachem products which was good.
i am using old stockings. they are doing the trick and also no beads are coming out so it must be working.

just wasnt sure wether i should put the stuff where the sponges were or where the bioballs were. first of last chamber.
