Getting ready to setup my first SW 2 part auto doser, but have a lot of experience with setting up dosing systems on the FW side for planted tanks.
The most accurate pumps for dosing are peristaltic pumps. Other pumps can be used, but the problem is, the volume they pump per a given time is extremely variable, based on head height, and how much liquid is left in the container being dosed out of. With a peristaltic pump, it pumps the same amount of liquid each minute regardless of those factors.
I have heard really good things about the Bulk Reef Supply peristaltic pumps:
