Wouldn't kitchen tongs do the same thing?

Kitchen tongs might work, but I think they might be a little big.
These tongs are small and narrow on the end. You can plant a stem very close to another plant without disturbing the plant, or substrate.
They are just called planting tongs as far as I know. For $5 I'm pretty impressed.
