Best kind of overflow?

I'm ready to order new tank. Where do i have this thing drilled? can i drain tank from back?what about a coast to coast overflow? anyone use this? so many questions.....can't wait to get started. i want to DIY as much as possible starting with stand. All imput would be much appreciated. plan-72x18x28 FOWLR thanks eh...Dan

Why not just get a reef ready (pre-drilled) tank to start with?

yes, but pre- drilled where? I read in these forums somewhere that a coast to coast is the way to go, having one hole drilled in back middle. anyone? TIA notler
