Looking to find a cheap skimmer that's does its job for a 30 gallon reef tank
Not looking to spend over 50 or 60 bucks on one
Just spent $400 on lights alone and that doesn't include the new tank, rocks, and coral iv already bought
If anyone has any suggestions please lmk

There is no skimmer that's worth your time and money that you can buy for 60 bucks. I would skip the skimmer completely for a 30 gallon tank. You can provide nutrient export with water changes quite easily.

Just looking for somethin to help with water changes
Trying to do water changes every other week

Just feed reasonably and don't overstock. Like I said, all the small nano type skimmers are pretty crappy. Most HOB skimmers put micro bubbles in the water, and also look horrible hanging on the side of the tank.

It's a coral only tank so there is no feeding or overstocking in the picture

You will need something in there to feed the corals and keep a bacteria colony going. I would suggest at least adding one fish.

I'm not gonna worry about a skimmer
I have two clownfish from another tank I'm going to put in with and monitor feed levels and do frequent water changes
No biggie

Big thanks to everyone helping out
