Best way to raise light off tank?

I am setting up a 29 gal fish/invert tank and I understand the glass top should not be used. Suggestions for raising the light above the tank a few inches without a top? Thanks......

It's a Coralife florescent (very thin).

If it's a coralife aqualight, you're in luck.
