better light?

Which is better for tank inhabitants?
Coralife 10k 20w
Standard FL 17w

The 17w looks brighter but I inderstand the spectrum concept.
Wife likes the brighter bulb.

Nothing in tank yet really
29 gal tank

Not really going to matter if they are both NO flouresent. What ever is more pleasing to the eye.
