I currently have a medium sized wet dry for a filter. The darn thing is just too noisy. Bought a Fluval 404 to replace it with. Can I fill a couple baskets in my Fluval and be alright with my bio load?

How many fish do you have? Maybe I am not understanding the question.
Do you want to put the established bio balls in the fluval? Sure, as long as they fit.
