Biofilm removal from silicone

This article relates that acid followed by bleach does a good job at removing biofilm from silicone.
The article was talking about dialysis silicone tubing... But, for us it is still good info should we ever want to disinfect silicone tubing and/or silicone ornaments in the aquarium.
Of course for us, we would need to soak it in or run super Prime/Dechlorinator water through it.
