Biomax bag too big

Hi guys I recently bought a 6.8 oz bag of fluval biomax for my HOB filter when I was going to put it in i realized that i didnt have enough space in it so I'm here to ask If it is ok to cut open the bag and just dump the boinax in or if I should wait and hold on to use it at a later date as I have nothing else to do with it and not ranks to put it in thanks in advance I hope I put this in the right group srry If I didnt

Hello, I use a clean nylon stocking can be cut to sz & tied w/rubber band. It will also help to keep your biomax from getting gunked up w/muck. Hope this helps!
