Black fx5 and gray(?) fx5

Ok. Just a different color canister? I've seen a black and a gray one. Maybe just a different background making it look lighter/darker. I just want to buy the right one. Thanks.

They're the same. The light background one is reflecting the light around it, the dark isn't. Try holding a piece of paper under someone's face (to bounce surrounding light) and you'll see their face get lighter. Standard photographic lighting technique.
