I'm trying to find a way to get more lighting in to my 36gal bowfront. the hood that came with it has a removeable standard lighting. the glass strip might be 3-4 inches wide. I am thinking about going with LEDs. I dont have any live plants in the tank. will the LED's be brighter than the standard? Would a full glasstop be better, if so where could I get one?
