Would a bubble magus curve 5 be any good in a 110 gallon tank or would I need to upgrade.
If so i was thinking about the new deltec sc1456 with the manual cleaning head.

I have the bubble magus curve 7 on a 120. I think it's sufficient on my tank. I think that the curve 5 would be a touch small. In my opinion. Curve 7 works great.

My curve 5 works wonders on my 90 gallon. I don't see it struggling at all in a 110.

No way is that enough skimmer for your tank. It only pulls 300 liters of air. I would want something at least double it's size.

I agree with MrX, you want twice the skimmer for your total volume in water. Some may say its ok to use, but if you had the correct size skimmer, then your nitrates would never become an issue in your tank. Better to overskim, than to kill yourself chasing numbers. The Deltec your looking at would be far better than the Curve 5, by far, you'd be much happier with that ones performance.
