Hey guys,

I've never bought used so wanted some advice. I'm looking at a 46 bow. It currently has water in it that looks real old, so I know that's not an issue.

What other not-so-common things would you recommend looking at? He wants $75 for everything - so little part replacements aren't an issue. I figure this is a steal even if it needs some major cleaning.

Thoughts?

Attached are the two pics he posted on craigslist.

That looks like a total steal for the price. Even if you can only use the tank, stand and striplight. The tank looks like it could use a fresh coat of paint, but if that doesn't bother you, who cares, right?

Buy it. Clearly it holds water, and that's all that matters.

My worry is that it's probably acrylic and the water looks murky. What if the tank is cloudy/stained? No way to fix that, right?

The main thing to look for on a bow of that size is the center brace, if it's in good shape go for it
