calcium/ coralife salt mix/nutrafin ca test kit

Ok, so I've been having problems with very high calcium. My ca is at about 750 right now. I have been doing numerous water changes but with no change. I finally(doh!) decided to test the water change water before adding it to the tank. I use coralife sea salt and the package says it should have 430 to 450ppm of calcium straight out of the bag. The test says the ca is 700ppm from the bag. The test is only about 2 months old. Is it possible it is bad? Surely the salt cannot have 700ppm . Does anyone have any experience with either Coralife salt or Nutrafin test kits?

I use the coralife and plan on changing once it is used up. My fresh mixed water has a pH of about 7.6 . I check my change water frequently and it never comes up from there. My calcium has always been good though. I would test it with another kit before doing any drastic changes.

I figure it has to be the test kit. There are no signs of problems with any of the livestock and I've seen no signs of calcium buildup in any of the pumps or filters.
