I'm convinced that my tank is over 100gallons. This weekend I intend on transferring the Goby to my qt tank for a couple days while I remove the old, discolored, peeling silicone to reseal it. Then I'll refill the tank one bucket at a time so we can all get some piece after all this math!

Alright I have made a large mistake in my math that I decided to recheck when I started to become more and more suspicious of why my tank was so much smaller than every 150gallon tank I saw in person. So let me try to explain where I went wrong. When I put the measurements of the tank in the computer to print my layout on graph paper I assumed the angle of the medium sides of the tank were at 180. And they are NOT. They're at a much greater angle, so this caused one very important measurement to be off which I remeasured for myself. As you can see in the top picture the incorrect angle measurement caused the two longest sides of the tank to be 26" apart when in reality they are only 16" apart. So with some adjusting I came up with the bottom image and Ta-Dah! The correct volume of the tank is only 73 gallons! I just hope this can help someone else with an odd shaped tank!
