Aquarium Advice Apprentice
I began researching and reading reviews of canister filters for my 55 community tank (unplanted) and love the features of the Eheim Ecco 2236 cannister filter. Has anyone used this with a 55? I know it is rated for up to 80 gal., and some reviews warn of the handle being fragile, low flow, etc., but I like the fact it has media trays, is easy to set-up and maintain. Eheim recommended this one over the 2215 & 2217, but some have told me I should go with the Classic 2217. This is rated for up to 165 gallons. I do have a budget. Can someone share their experiences?
