Hey everyone,

Right now I'm looking at a 155 gallon tank and oak stand on craigslist for 400. I'm planning on keeping new world cichlids in a medium planted tank. My question is, how hard would it be to use a sump with this tank? I have no experience with large volume tanks and I don't know how exactly a sumps intake and output hook up if the tank isn't drilled.

Thanks for quick replies,
Ryan

You can use HOB overflows and run a sump on the tank. It wouldn't be as clean of an install, but it's still very doable. Google "Melev's Reef" and look at his sump page for more information.
