Can I paint tank back with fish in it?

Pet store said no but I don't see why not if I'm using acrylic and not spray

If you can access the back of the tank when it is filled I don't see why not. Just cover all openings very well. As long as paint stays out of the tank you should be fine. You don't want to paint the inside of a filled tank though, I'm not sure if that's what you meant or not lol

Thanks! Is it worth it or should I get just a plain black back from the store and attach that?
