my friend just gave me an old power head to have, he had alot of old dryed out brown stuff on it (im assuming it was alage) so i scrubbed most of that off and even ran hot water through the pump for an hour or 2 would this pump be ok to put in my tank or would you reccomend not to?
can i put a used power head in my tank?

sure. i see no reason not to
im having a little trouble with having an even amount of surface agitation in their right now is a spray bar its a 3ft wide tank so the bars in the middle will that provide enough agitation for the tank or is adding the power head a good idea cause itll add more oxgyen to the tank
