I have a line on a fish tank i would like to buy. It is a 55gal tank. I plan making it a community tank (probably 10-ish fish, i'm still deciding on what i want). I want to use a sand substrate. My questions is, it comes with 1 Magnum 220 and 1 Magnum 350 canister filters for a ugf setup. However, i do not wish to use a ugf as they are a pain and outdated. Do i just need to buy the proper fittings (i assume and intake and out-put hose, sorry i'm a noob) for the canister filters. Also, is this adequate filtration for that size tank and are these good filters?

Thanks for the help

Depending on what all they give you... you may just need to pick up an intake strainer and outflow nozzle for the 350. Parts are readily available for the 350 all over the place.
